```Matilda - The Musical Phoenix reviews
Worst Venue Ever!
In Fresno, CA, in the middle of summer, the worst thing was the lack of air conditioning. The show was perfect, and Matilda - The Musical is flawless. Rows way too close, chairs way too close, cramped, crowded. Considering Matilda - The Musical draws an older crowd, it was a real recipe for some serious heat-related health problems. A large group of friends all swore never to return to the Warnor's in Fresno. Had we known the A/C was out, I would have simply skipped the show- and I LOVE Matilda - The Musical - yeah, it was THAT bad. I grew up with the Warnor's Theatre, but unlike other historic theaters in Calif., they have made no improvements. Matilda - The Musical and the band were dying up there, but again, they were flawless! Seen them over a dozen times in the past 30 years. It was easily 90 degrees in that theater by the time the show was over. No explanation offered, no inquiries to Warnors returned.
